We will be showcasing our new touch screen kiosk at this year’s Wales Rally GB and are inviting rally fans to come and visit our exhibition stand.
Traffic Wales will be based inside the Education pavilion adjacent to the Rally’s Park Ferme in the SA1 marina area of Swansea.
The Wales Rally GB runs from Thursday November 29th to Sunday December 2nd and is expected to attract thousands of fans of all ages.
The Traffic Wales kiosk has been customised especially for the rally and has a number of live links to the Wales Rally GB and the World Rally Championship websites.
The main feature of the kiosk is this website – www.traffic-wales.com – which will also be available for fans to browse and plan and view their journeys during the event.
Besides the easy-to-use touch-screen ability of the kiosk, there will also be a `roll-over’ mouse to make accessibility easier for the public to navigate around the website and a large TV screen for clearer viewing of any travel information.
Extra kiosk features include registration to this site to receive free email and sms mobile phone alerts, the ability to browse and view the major network routes via the Traffic Wales CCTV cameras and to also view the latest travel updates – particularly the Wales Rally GB and various stages in Swansea and the surrounding areas and Cardiff.
