Traffic Wales, the Welsh Assembly Government’s travel information service, is advising Cardiff City fans going to watch the FA Cup Semi-final to leave themselves plenty of journey time.
Kick-off at Wembley Stadium is on Sunday 6th April at 4pm and one of the best ways to check road conditions and incidents is by logging-on to the Traffic Wales website www.traffic-wales.com.
Those who register with the site can also get SMS travel alerts on their mobile phone and also check the road conditions along the motorway from our regularly-updated CCTV cameras. Our control room Operators are also on hand to take calls on the Traffic Wales information telephone hotline on 0845 6026020.
A spokesperson for Traffic Wales, said: "My advice to fans is to plan your journey ahead of Sunday, log onto and register with our site, and also leave yourself plenty of travelling time.
"Don’t forget to call our 0845 number if you need one-to-one travel advice from our Operators – as they monitor the traffic and can also view the entire M4 in Wales through the Traffic Wales CCTV cameras.
