The services are delivered by Amey/URS Scott Wilson under the Welsh Transport Technology Consultancy (WTTC) contract as well as the Welsh Government's Trunk Road Agencies. All of whom are based within our Traffic Management Centres (Coryton, Cardiff on the M4 in South Wales and Conwy on the A55 in the North).

Traffic Wales is the public face and link to our Traffic Management Centre (TMC) operations which work to underpin the key responsibilities of the Welsh Government's transport responsibilities: Developing a world-class transport system to provide safe, affordable and sustainable transport for all.

The introduction of the Traffic Management Centres in recent years has made a significant impact to the efficiency and effectiveness of the management of the road network, and the provision of information to the travelling public. The Traffic Management Centres in Cardiff and Conwy form the hub of Traffic Wales' communications and information dissemination network which enables the service to operate effectively around the clock, every day of the year.
